Michon Proctor is a Local Philadelphia Artist focussed on psychedelia, in particular her Intergalactic Space Bears series.

Michon says of her own work: "In college I took a Textile Design course and for the final project, I chose to make Teddy Bears out of fabric that I designed. While listening to the song above, I gave them antennas and the name Intergalactic Space Bears. Since then, this project has grown into an exciting adventure and an ever-expanding universe.

My work is influenced by symbolism, metaphysics, science, color, mathematics, and psychedelic dimensions. I love researching ancient history and spirituality. When I’m not working on my craft, I enjoy playing video games, watching movies, studying the Tarot, and continuing my journey to Enlightenment.

The Intergalactic Space Bears were brought into existence on their home planet, Pluto. They travel through dimensions learning every aspect of this immortal Universe. Their quirky smile and big eyes suggest they’ve seen things out there in the vast vacuum of space."
