Now at Jedidiah Gallery, the incredible work of Braden Young! A Philadelphia native, his work helps reimagine the mundane and local by making stunning wall sculptures out of found and discarded objects throughout Philly, from a used Tastykake wrapper to a wrinkled roadmap of the city. Drawing from the long traditions of Pop Art, Young challenges us to take a closer look at the world around us and to reevaluate the everyday objects we never think of, bringing a new meaning to the phrase “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.
