Alphonse Lane is a master oil painter with over 46 years of experience in fine art. His evolving style spans Functional Surrealism, Dutch Realism, Abstract Expressionism, Cubism, and Romanticism. Influenced by masters like Dalí, Rembrandt, Miró, Kandinsky, Klee, Picasso, also the Bauhaus School, Lane now works in the Script Gesture method of oil painting. He remains dedicated to classical technique of Handmade Gesso. Using the traditional "one-to-one-to-one" method to ensure depth and durability in his work.
