Catherine Liu is a local artist from Philadelphia, and is currently pursuing a Design degree in her sophomore year of university. Her main medium has been focused on digital media, including 3D modeling and animation, digital illustrations and graphic design. 

The main concentration of her work centers around mental health and society, as she has always had an interest in the way people interact with each other and their personal environments. This piece is part of her "Rooms" series, where she explores the mental and visual dynamics between individual personalities and their room environments. One's bedroom can usually express a lot about their life mentality and situation, and Catherine aims to explore a broad range of these relationships through her illustrations.
